No, the MRCOOL DIY series is specifically designed for amateur installation. It features pre-charged Quick Connect line sets that do not require specialized tools, vacuuming, or refrigerant charging by a professional.
How long does shipping take for my HVAC system?
Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Due to the size and weight of HVAC equipment, units are shipped via LTL freight and typically arrive within 5-10 business days depending on your location.
What is the warranty coverage on MRCOOL DIY systems?
MRCOOL offers a limited lifetime compressor warranty and a 5-year parts warranty for the DIY series, provided the unit is registered online within 60 days of installation.
Can I return my unit if I change my mind?
We accept returns on unopened, uninstalled units within 30 days of delivery. Please note that return shipping costs and a restocking fee may apply to large freight items.
Are these units energy efficient?
